Bennett Elementary
Welcome, Bennett Elementary! We are excited to introduce you to your sister school Kiyunga Islamic Primary School.
Sister Schools' program begins with a presentation at Bennett Elementary where we teach students about the lives of students at Kiyunga, including their culture, language, and food. We then invite the students of Bennett to participate in a two-week long supply drive where they can donate school supplies. These supplies are given directly to Kiyunga and their students. In turn, the students at Kiyunga learn about YOU and the Bennett community, and prepare and perform a dance as a return gift. In the spring, Sister Schools comes back to Bennett with a special presentation highlighting your gift from Kiyunga as well as photos of your school supply donations in action.
