Mill Creek Elementary
Welcome, Mill Creek Elementary! We're excited to be working with you this year. As a local nonprofit dedicated to cultivating compassion and generosity in students across the globe, we believe that every child has something to learn and something to give. Our year-long program connects schools in Seattle and Uganda, giving students the opportunity to learn about each other and share resources. Here is how Sister Schools will partner with Mill Creek Elementary this year and connect you to your partner school,
Sittankya Primary School.​
Program Overview
​Sister Schools' program begins with a presentation at Mill Creek, where we teach students about the lives of students at Sittankya, including their culture, language, and food. We then invite you to participate in a two-week-long supply drive, during which you can donate your new and used school supplies to your partner school in Sittankya.

After we sort the donated supplies, we ship the supplies to Sittankya Primary School. When we distribute the supplies, the students at Sittankya will prepare a gift for Mill Creek Elementary. In the spring, Sister Schools returns to Mill Creek with a second presentation showing you the impact your generosity has made, and presenting you with your gift from the students at Sittankya.
