After hosting a dozen Ugandan students during our Ssuubi Tour in 2008, several local schools wanted to directly support their new friends with a fundraising project, in addition to their usual supply drives. Through the fall and winter, our Ugandan staff oversaw the remodel of the Girls' Bath House at Mukono Boarding School, which Terry got to dedicate the next spring on the yearly Sister Schools Distribution Trip. Once home, we were able to show students at Saint Alphonsus and other schools the transformation they made!
The kids at Mukono even wrote and performed a skit to show off the beautiful new bath house and say thank you to their friends in America.
