Brewing More Than Beer: How Ghostfish Brewing Helped Raise over $50,000 for Global Student Connections

This fall, Ghostfish Brewing Company showed what it truly means to brew community on a global scale. Their generous support of our annual auction last fall has been fueling student growth all year. 

Ghostfish Brewing Company is Seattle’s award-winning, 100% gluten-free brewery, known for its innovative beers and inclusive community ethos. In October, Ghostfish stepped up as a sponsor for Sister Schools’ annual Benefit Auction, helping fuel a successful fundraising effort that raised over $50,000 to support life-changing educational connections between students in Seattle and Uganda.  

A Partnership Rooted in Shared Values 

Sister Schools is a Seattle-based nonprofit dedicated to creating meaningful partnerships between schools in the Puget Sound region and primary schools in Uganda. Through supply drives, cultural exchange activities, and educational programs, students in both countries experience personal growth, global awareness, and reciprocal compassion.  

The organization’s annual Benefit Brunch & Auction, held each October, is a key fundraiser in support of this mission. Ghostfish Brewing’s sponsorship helped make this year’s event even more impactful, contributing to the strong turnout and fundraising results that have been directly benefitting programs and student engagement initiatives all year.
