Welcome Wenqi Wang, Our New UW Board Fellow

Sister Schools is delighted to welcome Wenqi Wang as our newest University of Washington Board Fellow. Wenqi brings a powerful combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a deep commitment to community and equity that strongly aligns with our mission. 


Wenqi is a Senior Technical Project Manager within the Microsoft AI organization and is currently pursuing her evening MBA at the University of Washington. She is also a proven community leader, having previously served on the Asians at Microsoft AI board, where she led impactful events and initiatives that fostered connection, inclusion, and professional growth. Her background reflects not only operational excellence, but also a genuine passion for building communities that thrive. 


Driven by a lifelong dedication to education and social equity, Wenqi is honored to join Sister Schools as a Board Fellow. In this role, she looks forward to leveraging her experience in business strategy and project management to strengthen community engagement, support organizational growth, and help advance Sister Schools’ mission of creating meaningful educational connections across cultures. 


Wenqi lives in Kirkland with her husband and two daughters and enjoys volunteering for local causes in her spare time. We are thrilled to have her energy, insight, and leadership on our board, and we look forward to the impact she will make with Sister Schools. Please join us in giving Wenqi a warm welcome!
