Together, We Raised Nearly $43,000 for Students Around the World!
Earlier this month, the Sister Schools community gathered at Ray’s Boathouse for our annual Benefit Brunch and Auction—and what a wonderful celebration it was!
To everyone who joined us, bid on auction items, participated in our games, made a gift, or helped bring the event to life: thank you! Your generosity and enthusiasm remind us what makes Sister Schools so special. Together, we raised nearly $43,000 to support students in the Pacific Northwest and Uganda as they learn from one another, build meaningful connections, and grow into global citizens.
One of the most meaningful parts of the morning was celebrating the incredible teacher partners who bring Sister Schools to life in their classrooms. These dedicated educators create opportunities for students to connect across continents, discover new perspectives, and recognize how much they have in common with their global peers.
Their commitment is at the heart of our program. By making space for cross-cultural learning and friendship, our teacher partners help students see the world a little differently and understand the important role they can play in it.
We were also excited to share our new Sister Schools marketing video! The video offers a glimpse into the connections, learning, and shared experiences that make our program so meaningful. Of course, the morning would not have been possible without the generous hearts of our community. From enthusiastic auction bidders to dedicated volunteers and thoughtful donors, everyone played a part in making this year's event a success.
The nearly $43,000 raised will help Sister Schools continue connecting students in the Pacific Northwest and Uganda through shared learning experiences, meaningful relationships, and a growing understanding of the world around them.
Every gift helps make these connections possible. And every connection is a reminder that, no matter where we live, we have so much to learn from one another.
