At Fernwood Elementary, students are learning that the world is bigger—and more connected—than they ever imagined. Thanks to the generous support of Bothell-Everett Kids Dentistry, young learners are not only growing academically but also developing as global citizens.
Bothell-Everett Kids Dentistry partnered with us to bring the Sister Schools experience to Fernwood Elementary this year. Through their support, we introduced Fernwood students to the vibrant culture and language of Uganda. Students participated in our service learning experience, collecting school supplies to share with their peers in Uganda and learned firsthand their own power to make a difference.

Dr. Yoon is a passionate and caring dentist. He believes that kids are our future and that providing them proper oral care brings healthy smiles to healthy children. He is committed to seeing youth in our local community thrive, and knows that investing in their social and emotional health through programs like ours is just as important as their oral health.
The partnership reflects the practice’s ongoing commitment to kids both locally and globally. From providing exemplary dental services, to sponsoring Sister Schools, to annual mission trips to provide oral care for underserved youth abroad, Bothell-Everett Kids Dentistry is a familiar and trusted presence in the lives of many families.
Sister Schools Executive Director Jaime Dubrulle trusts Dr. Yoon to treat her own children and is proud to see the impact we’re creating together. She explained that “Our students are learning that kindness, curiosity, and communication can connect them with children across the globe. We’re so grateful to have a partner like Bothell-Everett Kids Dentistry who believes in that vision.”
Whether it's through healthy smiles or global friendships, Bothell-Everett Kids Dentistry is making a lasting impact—one child at a time.
